they fought over fattened sardines.
a can rolling with summer’s shine.
they fought over an evening indoors.
and I was happy with a pigeon’s demise.
I understand how magnetized
a business card can be,
when squirrels nod and prettily boast
about nuts they gather, three times quick.
my friends, in actuality,
are roommates, smiling widely.
scheming, almost nightly.
glue in a bottle of your brother’s shampoo.
I blink at another brown recluse,
not exactly wishing a viral ill.
but if they scream a bit too loud,
I won’t hyperventilate a minute prolonged.

It is a little project where I attempt to take photos (of any quality, really) of 500 cats, writing a poem for each cat I find. I know it will take a while before I reach 500. I am glad that you enjoy it so far!

I also loveeeee cats ❤ We have 2 Persian cats, the white one is Yuki and the orange one is Hershey and we also have a flat-faced cat named Mallows 🙂 In my Facebook I always post their cuteness ❤ By the way, the poem is purrr-fect 😀
